Sodexo announces entering a partnership with Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) in France to support the organization's initiatives dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial skills of university students.
Paris, June 16, 2008 - Sodexo announces entering a partnership with Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) in France to support the organization's initiatives dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial skills of university students. Through this partnership Sodexo will not only provide financial support but will also be able to provide professional expertise to facilitate the development of the SIFE France student teams.
SIFE offers thousands of students each year the opportunity to develop and implement sustainable projects which create economic opportunities for others. This partnership, which involves the provision of financial support and expertise, was announced during the annual final of SIFE France at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris on June 13, 2008.
Along with the financial support provided to SIFE France, Sodexo expects to become actively involved in evaluating participating SIFE teams both nationally and in the wider competition, mentoring SIFE teams on their projects and through providing skills training to the students. Equally, Sodexo will be able to provide employment opportunities for these students either through internships or full time opportunities.

SIFE France brings together student teams and organizations annually in a national competition. During this competition a judging panel of professionals work together to identify the best projects implemented by the student teams and ultimately the French champion who will go on to represent France in the SIFE World Cup.
