Paris, April 30, 2008 - Sodexo, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, has been ranked number four overall among the world's leading outsourcing services companies by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) 1, an industry trade group.
For the third year in a row, Sodexo is ranked in the top five of the Global Outsourcing 100, a reference in the field of services and outsourcing.
Sodexo is also listed as one of the best companies in the “Facility Services” category as well as in the “Health Care” industry.
Companies were ranked based on 18 criteria including revenue growth, outsourcing experience, global presence, workforce skills and training, technical and business certifications (such as ISO 9001), the track record of the management team and the quality of its customer services.
* The “Global Outsourcing 100,” as determined by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), appears as a special advertising feature (attached) in the May 5 issue of Fortune magazine.
SODEXO, founded in 1966 by Pierre Bellon, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, with
more than 342,380 employees on 29,000 sites in 80 countries. For Fiscal 2007, which closed August 31, 2007,
SODEXO had revenues of 13.4 billion euro. Listed on Euronext Paris, the Group's current market capitalization is
