Sodexho strengthens its Senior Management structure with new appointments for Michel Landel and Jacques Pétry.

On September 15, 2004, Pierre Bellon announced that in order to enhance the efficiency and cohesiveness of the Sodexho Group," the Board of Directors had decided to enhance the governance structure, currently led by two Chief Operating Officers, Michel Landel and Jean-Michel Dhenain.

Effective September 1, 2005, Michel Landel will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sodexho Alliance. Pierre Bellon will step down as Chief Executive Officer while continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Jean-Michel Dhenain has chosen to retire at the end of 2005. He will continue to serve Sodexho by sharing his experience and skills as an Advisor to the Group.

Taking into account our strategy to accelerate the development of our multiservices offering and current market trends, we have recruited Mr Jacques P try to become Chief Executive Officer for Continental Europe and South America.

Jacques Pétry will join Sodexho on March 1, 2005. An engineer, he holds degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (1978) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss es (1980), as well as an MBA from Villanova University in Pennsylvania (USA). Most recently, he was the Chairman and CEO of Suez Environnement, a company with €12 billion in revenues.

Pierre Bellon, Michel Landel and Jean-Michel Dhenain are delighted by the arrival of Jacques Pétry who will reinforce the Executive Committee of the Group: "he brings to us unique international skills in developing our service offering to companies, to local authorities and to healthcare establishments."
